The Swedish Baryton Trio has been in existence since 2009 when it was 200 years ago Joseph Haydn died. To celebrate this great composer and his much forgotten chamber music which was composed for his employer Prince Esterhazy's favorite instrument, the Baryton. With viola and cello it forms a sublime dark sonority that has a very siren character. Haydn wrote 126 trios for this setting so there is a huge variety to choose from.
